Here's one final topic for older women to cover as they teach and train younger women: the practical stuff.
SO THERE YOU HAVE IT: five topics that women should be teaching to women. You don't have to be a theological expert or trained in ministry to teach these things to a younger woman, even if you're formally mentoring her. Simply open the Bible, learn from it together and seek help if you get stuck. Share your life and what you've learned about godly womanhood. Pray together. Well, after a break to recover from times feeling not so well I was due to do my toughest scenario yet. I threw the dice and it turned out I was correct. This scene not only helped clear out all the demons gathered over the last few years but it allowed me to show emotions I find difficult to express. For this reason it was a very cathartic process, if a little stressful at times. This bothered my cohort, but I actually found it rather peaceful. Last September we visited Dunham Massey, a National Trust property bordering the Bridgewater Canal. From beneath the pillow a recording was playing of a wounded serviceman speaking of his injuries, and some of his words were printed on the pillow. Electric shock treatment was somewhat rudimentary. Children were invited to try their hand at winding bandages. Halloween is just around the corner and it's high time to get crafty! Ten Shiny Brite ornaments all wrapped up in tissue paper nestled in a box! One of the first things I did was to make a note card that described each ornament so when they make their way to the tree I get them back in the right box. The design may have been made for only one year possibly two. I am not sure if there is a list out there of the year certain ornaments were produced. I should take a photo of every different design I have and in what colors…perhaps that will be a good blog project for December. I am still “thinking” about what I will do this year…I have that ten foot tall tree…and I bought a new tree in the after Christmas sales…thinking that a seven foot tall tree is tall enough and I would showcase different Shiny Brites every year… oh well I have two more months before I HAVE to decide. .
